Dear everyone at the Sil Lum Institute of Gung Fu. I have been inquiring about training with you through a friend, Taylor Diley who first told me about your institute. I have been e-mailing Master Tom and Master Ed. I have been looking for a serious training source for Hung-Gar. I was almost going to travel to china to train but, when Taylor messaged me about certain goverment restrictions I figured it would be to hard anyway.
I have been training Taekwondo, and kick-boxing for 4-5 years. I live here in Missouri, USA. Its nice, the weather is always changing though. We get cold winters which, im sure ya'll know about.
I wanted to further my martial arts studies. I was training with a friend and He had been taking a few "Hung-Gar" lessions somewhere close by and I found it amazing upper body defense/offense system.
I would love to train as much as possible with the gung-fu. From what Master Tom has told me. There is no problem in coming up there to train. I hope everything goes well and I was wondering if anyone could comment on my response on any further instructions I may need before coming. =)
Sincerly, Dietrich P.S. Nice website, easy to understand and kept simple ;D
